Adblue Man Euro 6 26-440 fault removal: Aktiv Codes 04547-02
The codes most frequently encountered on MAN 26.440 and other engines are those corresponding to the AdBlue system, present in the EDC engine ECU under identification number 04547-02. Restriction of power and vehicle speed limited to 20km/h. It is no longer possible to drive without danger.
Removal of AdBlue fault on Man Euro 6 - Permanent and ACTIVE fault 04547-02
The fault is eliminated in the heart of the engine ECU, using the 'bench' method, i.e. we don't need to open it, but simply connect to the pins of the connectors on the Bosch EDC17CV42 box fitted to many MAN trucks. We then read the engine programming data and encode a new program which will enable the vehicle to be used without loss of power or even AdBlue gas treatment, which is useful for foreign exports, if not mandatory.
Restore your vehicle's operating capacity
After reprogramming the Bosch ECU, we review all the faults present in the truck's EDC17 module and check that fault 04547-02 has changed status from AKTIV to PASSIV. This PASSIV status informs us that the fault is present in the ECU, but can be cleared.
Adblue Man Euro 6 -> 20 km/h speed limit permanently abolished
Removal of Adblue Man 26-440: After our intervention, the Speed Limit (maximum operating speed of the truck) is reset from 20 Km/h to 90 Km/h. The vehicle recovers its torque and power.
