    All Fendt Agriculture vehicles are supported by AdBlue troubleshooting if their engine management system is equipped with a Bosch EDC17. Fendt Adblue SCR faults can be permanently eradicated from the system memory.

    Supported engine types and ECUs

    Several types of engine are supported by Fendt. First of all, Fendt has equipped many of its vehicles with Deutz, Agco Power SISU Tier 4F engines, which are fitted with EDC17CV52 EDC17CV54 & EDC17CV56 engine management units, as well as EDC17CV41. Fendt vehicles equipped with MAN engines are managed by a Bosch EDC17CV42 engine management unit, also programmable to virtualize the adblue system.

    Fendt AdBlue removal process

    Most data reading and interpretation is done via the manufacturer's diagnostic socket. For CV42 ECUs, we use the bench method, which enables us to read data directly from the engine ECU connector. Acquiring this data enables us to operate directly in the ECU's memory, and thus to adjust all engine management parameters, such as pollutant emissions or engine power data.

    Reading the engine ECU's flash memory enables us to intervene in all engine management parameters. These include exhaust gas treatment and particulate filter regeneration, as well as all the parameters that enable the vehicle to operate and limit its power and torque, such as injection times, torque limiters, ignition timing and many more. By modifying these data, we can obtain between 10 and 30% extra power, while remaining within the manufacturer's standards and tolerances, and therefore taking care not to inflict damage on the vehicle.
