Adblue: Holmer Exxact OptiTraxx & LightTraxx

Solutions for Agrifac / Holmer Exact machines with Volvo Penta Tier 4F/St.V engines

Adblue Troubleshooting on OptiTraxx and LightTraxx - Volvo Penta

Agrifac uses Volvo Penta engines in many of its machines, particularly the latest models. These machines are renowned for being excellent tools, but sometimes the associated engines have AdBlue system faults which reduce beet harvesting capacity. You'll find our solutions available to counter these incidents, or to enable such machines to work in countries where AdBlue is not available.

Find out which Agrifac machines are supported by our AdBlue solutions.

The DOC/DPF/SCR exhaust treatment system is effective for Tier 4F / St.V. vehicles. The OptiTraxx and LightTraxx beet harvesters are not exempt, but we'll try below to summarize the other machines from the brand that may be affected.

    List of other machines affected

    • Minimum emission standard = Tier 4F / St.V
    • OptiTraxx: Volvo Penta 345kW or 469hp D13J engine
    • LightTraxx: Volvo Penta 345kW or 469hp D13J engine
    • SixxTraxx : Volvo Penta 450kW or 612hp D16J engine
    • HexxTraxx : Volvo Penta 450kW or 612hp D16J engine

Main features and functions of the emulation module

    • No or more FAP/SCR faults
    • No more torque reduction and power loss
    • New technology! Plug & Play connector, replaces original ACM ECU.
    • HCDEA™ - HamCom Dynamic Emulation algorithm
    • HCDMA™ - HamCom Direct Memory Access algorithm
    • Reversibility: you can return your vehicle to its original configuration at any time once the repair has been completed.

How to replace the original ACM box with our own?

Our module is designed to plug in exactly in place of the original ACM module. The connector for our troubleshooting solution is ordered from the same supplier as the one fitted to your OptiTraxx, LightTraxx, HexxTraxx or SixxTraxx machine, so assembly is simple and plug and play. Disconnect, Connect, Lock. The electronics managing the AdBlue system are located at the top of the box and take over from the original ACM ECU.

Common defects and symptoms on Holmer & Agrifac

Problems encountered on Holmer Exact machines

In most cases, AdBlue faults correspond to a physical problem in the system. A faulty pump, seized AdBlue injector or faulty electronic part, NOx sensor, crystallization problem, clogged DPFS, etc.

Diagnostics on specific Volvo Penta socket

We have the Volvo Penta/CE & Trucks diagnostic equipment to diagnose the origin of the problem more precisely if you wish, but also to be able to erase any persistent faults. Depending on the machine, the diagnostic connector may be either Volvo Penta proprietary or OBD2 compliant.

Adblue defect on Volvo CE vehicles (Penta SCR + DPF)

As with vehicles fitted with Volvo Euro 6 engines, when faults are present in the system you lose torque, power and therefore, to take the example of an Agrifac Holmer Exxact beet harvester, the impossibility of operating all the peripherals required for harvesting, or in some cases doubling harvesting time. A restriction of the maximum driving speed may also occur, making it impossible for the vehicle to exceed a speed of 20 km/h. Our control units are compatible with all Volvo CE vehicles complying with Tier 4 Final and Stage V standards. Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, Pipelayers...
