Adblue deactivation
Adblue deactivation is a process designed to eliminate a vehicle's Adblue system. Cars, trucks, agricultural and construction machinery and many others are now equipped with Adblue systems to reduce pollutant emissions.
Each vehicle has its own adblue management system. Often managed by an add-on module called ACM (Aftertreatment Control Module), adblue deactivation can also be performed from the engine management ECU. Deactivating adblue usually means operating directly on the vehicle, either via the manufacturer's diagnostic socket, or at the heart of the ECU(s).
Adblue deactivation by reprogramming
To deactivate the adblue system by reprogramming the vehicle, we need direct access to the vehicle, so that we can connect to it either via specific cases or directly with the manufacturer's development tools. By reprogramming the adblue system, the fault codes disappear, as do the warning lights on the dashboard, but also the engine torque limitation, whether it's a torque and power limitation or a maximum speed limitation. (often 20km/h). For light vehicles, it's usually impossible to start the engine if you don't fill up with adblue or if a part connected to the system fails. Programming eliminates the inability to start.
Adblue deactivation = Deletion of fault codes, no more adblue consumption, no more restriction of engine power and torque, vehicle start-up possible.
Adblue deactivation by emulation / Box
adblue can be deactivated directly using a virtualization box. This has the effect of sending signals on the vehicle's CAN BUS network, thereby misleading the engine ECU's interpretation. The adblue deactivation box not only eliminates adblue faults, but also sends signals relating to adblue quantity, quality and, in some cases, other information such as DEF (Adblue) fluid temperature. (Adblue). Not all vehicles are compatible with an emulation system, so please contact us for details.
Adblue deactivation by box = Removal of fault codes and any limitations due to SCR system malfunction. They can be mounted directly on the wiring harness, or they can be Plug And Play, i.e. you simply disconnect a connector and reconnect our adblue deactivation emulator.
