VW problem : What to do ?
Causes of AdBlue problems on VW
VW's Bluemotion SCR models are equipped with AdBlue technology. AdBlue is an aqueous solution made up of approximately 32.5% pure urea and 67.5% demineralized water. This solution is used in diesel vehicles equipped with selective catalytic reduction (SCR) technology to reduce emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx), which are harmful atmospheric pollutants.
The various components of the AdBlue system often fail, causing problems with the SCR system and vehicle restart if a solution is not found quickly.

VCDS: The diag tool par excellence
The HEX-V2 diagnostic interface is the cheapest, most appropriate and most accurate diagnostic tool for diagnosing a fault, particularly relating to the anti-pollution system (Adblue/EGR/Fap). With this tool, you can carry out a wide range of operations on your VAG Group vehicle.
The most common problems with the VW AdBlue system
If the vehicle consumes more AdBlue than expected due to specific driving conditions, such as driving uphill or with a heavy load, the tank level may drop rapidly. Leaks in the AdBlue supply system, such as hoses, fittings or the tank itself, can lead to a loss of liquid and therefore a low level. Level sensor problems: If the AdBlue level sensor is faulty or incorrectly calibrated, it could indicate an incorrect level, resulting in a low-level warning and a switch to degraded mode. Gauge problems also have an impact on the vehicle, and often indicate a system failure.
If the AdBlue metering system, which regulates the quantity injected into the SCR system, is operating incorrectly, this could lead to over- or under-consumption of AdBlue. In many cases, the AdBlue injector is faulty. It's also possible that the pump is a little weak and no longer delivers the required quantity of AdBlue.
Vehicles are often equipped with AdBlue quality sensors. Some vehicles are equipped with AdBlue quality sensors that measure parameters such as electrical conductivity, temperature and urea concentration. These sensors provide information on AdBlue composition and quality.
SCR systems also monitor the level and temperature of the AdBlue in the tank. Abnormal levels or temperatures may indicate AdBlue quality or dilution problems on your VW. Vehicles can monitor the performance of the SCR system in reducing NOx emissions. If emissions exceed expected limits despite proper system operation, this may indicate an AdBlue quality problem.
Avoid parts replacement and recurring problems
Our experience in the field of AdBlue and anti-pollution devices very often reveals a series of failures linked to the SCR (AdBlue) system. Is this a coincidence, or is it a logical sequence of failures that will prevent you from starting? We don't really know. What we do know is the cost of these breakdowns, and the inconvenience caused by your vehicle being immobilized and unable to start at the end of the countdown indicated on the dashboard if the problem is not resolved.
You don't want to pay thousands of euros without any certainty that the system will work?
Complete programming of the engine control unit eliminates existing faults, error codes and warning lights. It also eliminates power reduction due to SCR emission problems, as well as the inability to start the engine at the end of the countdown.
We can offer you a solution, but it is important to note that it does not fully comply with current regulations. Consequently, this solution should only be considered if you plan to travel abroad with your vehicle in countries where the Euro 6 standard is not required, such as certain regions of Africa or the Middle East. However, it does not present any vehicle anomalies at the time of the inspection.
What types of engine ECU do we work on?
Bosch ECU fitted on VW/Audi/Seat/Skoda vehicles
This is an approximate representation of a Bosch engine ECU. Although differences may exist depending on the reference, the general structure remains similar. In certain situations, the Bosch reference starting with 0 2xx will be required to confirm the feasibility of the operation.
Setting up our solution: How do I go about it?
If you live in the Normandy region or near Rouen
You are far from our center: no problem
If you live a considerable distance from our Normandy-based center, we have an option for remote intervention. The procedure is simple: simply remove your engine ECU (usually located near your vehicle's battery) and send it to us via the postal service of your choice. In return, we'll send it to you via Colissimo or Chronopost, depending on your preference.

Which engines and models are supported?
PLEASE NOTE THAT VEHICLES AFTER 2021 EQUIPPED WITH BOSCH ECUS ARE SOMETIMES LOCKED AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE TO WRITE DATA. THESE ARE MAINLY BOSCH MD1 ECUS.
VW
AUDI
SEAT
SKODA
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE PROGRAM CAN ONLY BE DELETED BY UPDATING YOUR VEHICLE AT A DEALERSHIP. MAKE SURE YOU DON'T WANT AN ECU UPDATE DURING A SERVICE CALL! OTHERWISE, THE DATA WILL BE LOST, AND YOU'LL HAVE TO COME AND SEE US AGAIN!
