Adblue troubleshooting on Manitou MT1840A with FPT SCR system

Final troubleshooting Manitou MT1840A Intervention to definitively eliminate an AdBlue problem after several attempts at the dealership. The fault reappeared after a few minutes, even though the NOx sensors, pump, etc. had been changed. The AdBlue system will be completely removed via the vehicle's EDC17 engine ECU. The engine type is 854F-E34TA.

In our case, the Perkins engine with FPT system installed on this vehicle was faulty. Particle filter clogged and SCR system faulty. As a result, the machine could only be started, without being accelerated and moved. We intervened directly in the engine ECU memory. As can be seen in the photo below, the SCR light is on.

Complete vehicle programming is carried out via the Bosch EDC17 engine ECU connector. Data is read and written on the bench. The removal of AdBlue from the Manitou MT1840A will enable the vehicle to run and work without loss of power, without consuming AdBlue and without regenerating its particulate filter (which will have to be emptied). There will be no more warning lights on the dashboard, and the vehicle will be able to accelerate again.
