Remove Adblue Deutz Fahr - Deutz engines

    Deutz engines

Specialized in agriculture, the agricultural vehicles produced by Deutz Fahr recently meet the most drastic standards in terms of pollution, and are mainly equipped with Deutz engines. These are TCD engines meeting Tier 4F / Stage 5 standards. These engines are managed by a control unit called EMR (EMR4) for the most recent ones, in which feedback and errors due to the gas post-treatment system are present. Most of these engines are equipped with an EGR valve, a particulate filter (FAP/DPF) and adblue (SCR system).

Deutz Fahr emission control system: SCR system

Neutralizing the aftertreatment system (i.e. removing the Adblue Deutz Fahr) initially involves disabling Adblue operation on the vehicle. DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) consumption is stopped, and various components such as the pump, NOx sensors and adblue injector can be disconnected.

    • Adblue consumption (DEF) will be zero
    • No more AdBlue warning light on the dashboard
    • Limp mode deactivation (torque reduction)
    • Deutz Fahr Adblue system components can be disconnected.

Deutz Fahr emission control system neutralization: The DPF

Deutz engines are also equipped with particle filters, which filter out micro-particles. Located just after the catalytic converter, the particle filter gradually becomes clogged with soot produced by the engine. As it fills up, it tends to impair engine operation, and a regeneration process (burning off the soot) becomes essential. After a while, when the soot level is higher than normal, the problems begin: regeneration is impossible because the soot level is too high, and the vehicle is put into degraded mode, restricting tractor or machine performance. It's an option to be added to the SCR system according to your needs. It's costly, but still less than if you had to replace the entire exhaust system.

    • No more particulate filter regeneration
    • Dashboard faults permanently erased
    • No more audible alerts
    • The particulate filter can and should (recommended) be emptied, as the soot will no longer be burned.
    • Limp mode deactivation (downgraded mode with engine torque reduction).

Deutz Fahr emission control system: EGR valve

The EGR valve allows exhaust gases to be recirculated into the intake system to be burned a second time. Although this function reduces air pollution, it actually increases it in your engine. In fact, this anti-mechanical element sends the unburnt particles back into the intake to burn them a second time... As a result, you're sending dirty gases back into the intake, even though we're told that, for best performance, the air must contain as many oxygen molecules as possible... Neutralizing this valve prevents your Deutz engine and Deutz Fahr machine from clogging the intake ducts. The valve can be physically disconnected and sealed with a metal plate to prevent the passage of gas.

    • Optimum motor operation
    • EGR valve blockage possible
    • Physical disconnection applicable
    • Faults relating to EGR valve problems neutralized in the EMR4 engine ECU.
    • No engine torque restriction due to EGR valve fault

Deutz Fahr: Support and feasibility of AdBlue suppression and post-gas treatment

    • All Deutz engines
    • All vehicles equipped with FAP EGR valve and SCR (Adblue)
    • All Bosch EDC17 and MD1 type EMR4 ECUs
    • All TCD engines meet Tier 4F / Stage V standards.

    System emulation via EMR4 programming

Deletion of the anti-pollution device on Deutz Fahr machines is carried out directly in the EMR engine management unit. The EMR memory is saved beforehand (in case you need to go back). We connect either via the manufacturer's diagnostic socket, or by the bench method directly to the engine ECU pinout. We do not open the box. The programmed operating data can be used to :

    • Neutralize the entire emission control system
    • Avoid downgrading and loss of power/torque
    • Increase engine performance, better torque and power management
    • Emulate operating data by reverse method (DPF Soot back to Zero).

Deutz Fahr Adblue withdrawal: Mercedes engines

    Mercedes engines

Like Deutz engines, Mercedes engines powering the biggest machines in the range are subject to Adblue problems. It is also possible to suppress the anti-pollution system of these vehicles. SCR DPF and EGR valve can be deactivated.

    Mercedes engines and feasibility

Mercedes engines operate somewhat differently from Deutz engines. Exhaust after-treatment is performed by two modules connected together via the CAN BUS network. These are the MCM (Motor Control Module) and the ACM (After Treatment Contol Module). Since the signals from these two units are transmitted via the vehicle's communication network, it is necessary to modify the data in both ECUs.

    • MCM and ACM HDEP (2.1) until 2019/2020
    • For machines up to 2018/2019 with D4 hardware, we use the Bench method directly.
    • For machines up to 2020, it is necessary to open the MCM box to unlock program read/write operations beforehand.
    • SCR DPF EGR deactivation possible
    • For machines from 2021 onwards
    • The MCM box can be reprogrammed after unlocking read/write operations, but the new-generation ACM does not yet allow data modification. This is the ACM3 model.
    • We're doing everything we can to find a way to read and write programming data in these new ECUs.
