Deactivating adblue on an Iveco Car or Bus

Intervention on a Car Iveco Crossway consists in permanently eliminating the faults present and active in memory. In the best case, the vehicle is in torque/power restriction mode, and in the worst case limited to 20km/h. Deactivation will enable the engine torque limits and LIMP Mode (creep mode) to be overridden, reducing the maximum speed at which the vehicle can be driven.

Correct AdBlue system faults

Reading the complete engine mapping data will enable us to work on the entire engine management system. The Bosch EDC17CV41 ECU coordinates correct operation and manages the various ancillary components, such as turbo control, the EGR valve, the particulate filter and the gas aftertreatment system.

This data is extracted via the manufacturer's OBD diagnostic socket. The program is then modified to allow optimal vehicle operation without being constrained by torque limiting faults and a speed of 20kmh. After writing the new data to the Crossway, we can see that no active or passive faults are present.

Although this solution is not legal, it remains totally undetectable and, among other things, allows you to transport your children safely without having to transfer them to a new means of transport at the side of the road.
