Problem Adblue Mercedes Actros 4141 MP3 BlueTec 4

Mercedes Actros 4141 Adblue system troubleshooting and engine reprogramming, Torque boost.

Adblue problem solved on 410hp Mercedes Actros 8×4 4141. Restriction of engine torque, limited speed limit and loss of power on this construction truck.

Equipped with the OM501LA 11.9L engine, the 410hp Mercedes Actros 4141 with V6 engine (Euro 4 emission standard) and Bluetec 4 Adblue management system can theoretically deliver 410hp and over 1800Nm of torque. In degraded mode, it is almost impossible to use it on a construction site.

Adblue Mercedes Actros 4141: No Adblue when working abroad

On older-generation MP3-type actros, the ECU's memory can be read directly via the OBD manufacturer's diagnostic socket. In fact, the Temic engine ECU enables data recovery (read and write), so there's no need to dismantle the vehicle. We don't add any extra boxes to the vehicle, just use the PC to modify the vehicle's original data. As a result, the Adblue system can be completely repaired, and the truck can regain its original engine power and torque. However, we also took the opportunity to improve the truck's performance, which was still below its owner's expectations. We therefore increased the power of this Actros from 410 to 450/460hp and boosted torque by around 200Nm. As you can see below, we identify the vehicle's exact engine type and engine software version. We can then read and write new data, taking care of course to comply with the manufacturer's standards and tolerances. The vehicle is now more torquey at low revs, more responsive at higher revs, and no longer has any problems with its SCR system.
