Problem Liebherr 914 Compact : Solutions & Troubleshooting
Are you experiencing a Liebherr 914 Compact problem? Loss of power, adblue injection defect, excessive safety settings. Adblue-services.com can solve your problems, so you don't have to worry about your vehicles losing power on the job.
What happens to your Liebherr 914 Compact excavator when an AdBlue fault occurs?
Liebherr excavators are equipped with Deutz TCD engines fitted with Bosch EDC17CV52 engine management ECUs. This ECU manages exhaust gas management, in particular DPF and SCR. (Adblue)
When an Adblue fault occurs, it sends a CAN message to the engine management ECU, which causes the system to malfunction and, after about 30-45 minutes, puts your excavator into a "degraded" mode, i.e. it loses power every 5 minutes or so, to the point of no longer being able to work properly. The restriction of torque and maximum power means that the shovel cannot be used.
Engine Type Deutz TCD3.6L4
Problem Liebherr 914 : The faulty SCR system on a Liebherr Deutz engine has enabled us to identify the main components involved in the degradation of engine performance. These are mainly the Adblue pump, the injector, the Adblue gauge (Canne), the catalytic converter, the NOx sensors and the wiring harness, which can also cause the system to malfunction. The SCR catalytic converter is often crystallized by the solidification of urea, becoming rock-hard and clogging the system. The cost of an SCR catalyser is around €7,000.
Adblue troubleshooting solution for your Liebherr excavator
By modifying the data in the Bosch engine management ECU, we've been able to solve a number of AdBlue problems. The new data entered in the engine management ECU program allows optimal operation without Adblue consumption and, above all, without the possibility of restricting the machine's torque and power. What's more, the Adblue pump can be disconnected without causing a fault on the on-board computer. This way, you can be sure that the system has been deactivated.
This solution requires our direct intervention on site: it's not an additional box grafted onto the existing system, but a complete programming of the existing data.
By reading the mapping data with dedicated hardware, we can extract the complete information and adjust the data to our customer's requirements. (Increase power, Deactivate Adblue....). This tailor-made programming enables the vehicle to return to its initial operating state, with no fault codes or downgraded modes.
