Improving your Scania's behavior by opting for Scania V8 reprogramming will give you more torque at low revs, and therefore inevitably more pulling power, but also more power at high revs when it's necessary to call on the 8 cylinders. The increase translates into a torque boost of around 300Nm and an additional 80hp.
Modification of AdBlue parameters with the option of deactivating the system
After reprogramming your Scania V8, we strongly recommend that you deactivate the Adblue, especially when the valves are open. This avoids disturbing the exhaust aftertreatment system, which no longer obtains the correct values when the exhaust is free or when the gases are diverted by the valves.
AdBlue system deactivation on closed roads only
The AdBlue system can be deactivated in the following legal cases.
- Driving in countries not subject to the Euro 6 standard (Maghreb, Africa)
- Truck intended for export to non-Euro 6 countries
- Use on closed or private roads: rallies & meetings
- Track use: PaceTruck, Parade (24h du Mans, Castellet...)
It is therefore possible to deactivate the vehicle's system as required.
