    Why opt for reprogramming on a Scania R450 Euro 6?

    The aim of reprogramming a Scania R450 Euro 6 is to improve engine efficiency. In other words, to optimize the injection cycles in order to improve the truck's performance, such as better torque and more power at higher revs. We therefore intervened on this Scania Euro 6 and optimized its power to 520hp and its torque to 2600Nm, which also enabled it to reduce its fuel consumption by 3L/100km.

    Engine reprogramming is carried out directly via the diagnostic socket, without dismantling the ECUs. Our software enables us to identify the engine ECU version and its operating software. Following this procedure, we work directly from the manufacturer's file in our database (original R450 file). (Each vehicle has its own engine operating software version, which we can modify using specific software. We can adjust all engine operating parameters, such as injection pressures, injection times, advance rates, EGT (exhaust gas temperature) management, turbo pressure and many others.     Final resolution The final resolution: It allows your vehicle to run without loss of power or consumption of AdBlue fluid. These functions are managed directly in the vehicle's engine management system, then we configure the truck with the help of Scania Usine software. As a result, particulate filter regeneration is permanently stopped and urea consumption is zero. Although this virtualization of the system is not tolerated by countries complying with the Euro 6 standard, and although it is invisible when passing through the MIN or in the event of an inspection, the fact remains that it should only be used outside the Euro zone (Africa, South America, Middle East, etc.).

    Following deactivation of the AdBlue and the DPF, the regenerations are no longer present and it is therefore advisable to remove the DPF cartridge or break it. It is also advisable to drain the Adblue remaining in the system to prevent it crystallizing (in case you wish to resell the truck in France in the future). The truck will no longer be in downgraded mode with torque restriction due to NOx, so you'll no longer have a warning light on the dashboard after reprogramming on Scania R450.
