Disable Adblue on Volvo FH4 500
The definitive way to disable Adblue on Volvo FH4 500
Deactivate adblue on Volvo FH4 500 equipped with D13K 500 engine. Problems are known on Volvo to go into torque limiting after a number of hours of driving over the limit with fault present, then into full LIMP MODE limiting at 20km/h if no solution has been implemented. The D13K 500 engine on FH4 Euro 6 is managed by a TRW EMS engine ECU (2.3 or 2.4 depending on the year) and a Continental ACM which manages exhaust gas aftertreatment. We can intervene on this system to save you the hassle of costly repairs on the freeway or when replacing parts.
Definitive elimination of defects in ACM and EMS
All emission-related faults can be permanently eliminated. The SCR (Adblue) system will no longer inject urea, FAP regeneration can be suspended, and EGR valve operation condemned. To do this, we need to reprogram both the engine operating and aftertreatment units. The procedure takes around 4 hours. It's advisable to empty the particulate filter (remove the cartridge on FH models) to prevent soot build-up from blocking the gases.
A truck with no lights and no CT defects
Following our intervention, you get back a truck with no faults present in the ACM and EMS systems. It goes without saying that interrogation using a diagnostic tool during a mine run reveals no codes in memory. Each truck has a different software version, and we have to customize the program to eradicate all problems relating to the adblue, and possibly the FAP and EGR valves. The work can be carried out on the entire Volvo FH FE FM FL.... range under the Euro 6 standard. The operating principle remains the same (Engine ECU + ACM post-processing unit).
