AdBlue problem Daf XF 105.410: Exhaust system fault, reduced engine power
After several attempts to repair this vehicle in order to export it, our customer opted for the complete deactivation of the AdBlue system, as it is not compulsory abroad (in Africa). The truck was therefore faulty, with a defective AdBlue system, probably due to the AdBlue pump and injector, but far too costly. Removing the system is not only invisible to the MIN, but also considerably cheaper. The AdBlue system has now been permanently neutralized, thanks to our specially programmed box for this DAF, with an AdBlue gauge that will indicate indefinitely when the tank is half full.
As can be seen in the 2 photos above, the exhaust fault is present and can only be removed if the problem is corrected. You can see below that the vehicle's power is reduced and no longer allows it to climb hills. Note that the Adblue gauge indicates 3/4 full when the vehicle is faulty.
Installation of our Daf XF Euro 5 emulator for defective AdBlue systems
Installing our emulator allows you to correct the above defects. It connects to the vehicle's CAN network. The information is then sent to the various ECUs, in particular the engine ECU, to simulate the various AdBlue data constants. We can see below that the AdBlue gauge, after connection of our box, displays a half-full tank, just as we had previously programmed. Note also that the exhaust gas warning light has also disappeared.
