    Adblue system faults permanently eliminated

On Scania R620 V8 Euro 5, the SCR system can fail due to faulty parts in the exhaust gas treatment circuit. Removing AdBlue from a Scania R620 V8 means you're no longer restricted in terms of engine torque (which you may experience as a loss of power), vehicle downtime and repair costs.

The R620 Euro 5 is equipped with an EMS S6 engine management ECU, which stores the emission control system's configuration parameters and fault codes.

Remove AdBlue on Scania R620 V8 (Euro5) and Stage 1 to 700hpReprogram your R620's engine ECU eliminates AdBlue faults on trucks once and for all. Engine torque and power limitations are eliminated (for anti-pollution faults only). This means no more warning lights and no more breakdowns. This means that the vehicle can now pass the mine test before being exported, since the removal of an anti-pollution device remains prohibited in Europe, even though it is invisible.

Torque reduction control (managed via NOx emissions) is therefore excluded from the engine management parameters, so that power is no longer reduced if a NOx sensor or other AdBlue system device fails.

Power increase on R620 V8 Scania

The increase in power does several things: it reduces fuel consumption (by modifying engine torque), and the vehicle responds better at low revs, so the gas pedal is used less for better acceleration. On the Scania R620 V8, we go from 620hp to 700hp, with a torque increase of around 300Nm. The result is improved driving comfort for the driver, who in our case, with the manual gearbox, avoids untimely downshifts.

Is it possible to fit a free exhaust system?

Fitting a free-flowing exhaust system to an R620 once the Adblue (SCR) system has been definitively removed is totally possible. What's more, there's no DPF (particulate filter) on Euro 5 versions, so you can directly fit your line with valves and drive without any defects or engine power restrictions. So you can drive freely H24 if you like.

    Speed sensor calibration

Calibration of the speed sensor allows you to obtain a few extra km/h or, on the contrary, to remove some, depending on your needs. We hope our article has helped you in your search.
