Solutions for all your anti-pollution problems -

FAP EGR and ADBLUE

Volvo FH16 Euro 6 Regeneration system fault Contact Workshop FH16 650

Volvo FH16 Euro 6 regeneration system fault

Volvos that do little driving or a lot of on-site work quite frequently encounter problems with particulate filter clogging, and as a result, excessive soot levels prevent regeneration from taking place correctly. On several occasions, the truck enters a degraded mode, losing all its working power, and may even be limited to a maximum speed of 20km/h, with a common message such as "Regeneration system fault - contact workshop".
The solution we propose is suitable for all Volvo Euro 6 vehicles, with engines 5 8 11 13 or 16L. Although invisible to the naked eye, it's important to bear in mind that removing an anti-pollution device is not legal. It is, however, authorized if you wish to drive abroad, in the Maghreb countries for example.

Particle filter fault and error message

Defects in EMS and ACM permanently eliminated

P244A00: FAP not present or severely damaged
P207F9A: SCR agent quality problem - AdBlue quality problem; EMS fault present
P20E797: Exhaust gas treatment problem; ACM fault
In addition to initially limiting engine power (degraded mode), these faults will cause the truck to enter creep mode within a few hours. In other words, it will not be possible to exceed a speed of 20km/h.

    Optional:

Intervention on FAP: Particulate filter: Possibility of eliminating regenerations and problems linked to the particulate filter.
Intervention on EGR valve: Possibility of electronically shutting down the EGR valve to prevent exhaust gases from recirculating into the intake to be burned a second time.

Intervention on vehicle speed: Possibility of modifying vehicle speed (plus or minus) according to your needs. If the truck is to be driven in a country with different speed limits, it is possible to modify the speed, but we don't intervene on the tacho part, only the regulator.

Example of AdBlue system removal. Before/After intervention possibility of leaving the bar present if the vehicle is not intended for export.

    Troubleshooting adblue Volvo FH16 650 D16K650

Faults relating to the particulate filter and adblue are also present in the ACM module. We therefore need to operate on them electronically in order to eliminate them. For all operations relating to power increase and the EGR valve, the intervention takes place directly at the heart of the EMS engine ECU.
When removing the particulate filter on a vehicle, it is highly recommended to remove the FAP cartridge, otherwise the soot will continue to agglomerate, and although there will no longer be any defect, there will come a time when the exhaust gases can no longer escape and will rise in the intake and turbo, creating excess pressure and causing the turbo to break down. It also happens that the back pressure is so strong that the truck won't start.

For foreign countries, it's the ultimate solution - no more system faults. regeneration

When vehicles are to be exported to countries where adblue does not exist, and for which the Euro 6 standard is not in force, then this modification is perfectly legal. If you need to drive in Europe, please note that although invisible, this modification is not tolerated, and we cannot be held responsible.
