Scania R500 Euro 6 Next Gen reprogramming!
On the DC13 155 1st generation engine EMD1 computer The DC13 155 engine is easily optimized by Scania. In fact, reprogramming data allows a wide range of correction while remaining reliable. Reprogramming a Scania R500 Next Gen engine enables it to be upgraded to 570/580hp, with a torque increase of 250Nm. Fuel consumption is reduced by around 2 to 3L/100 (depending on driving style). The operation is performed via the OBD manufacturer's diagnostic socket.
FAP and Adblue management reviewed (for export).
It is possible to downgrade your Scania to run without an anti-pollution device, especially if you wish to export it or work in areas where we are subject to the Euro 6 standard. You'll need to review the FAP and AdBlue management if you wish to install a free exhaust system, so that the vehicle doesn't go into degraded mode. The degraded mode caused by particulate filter problems or SCR system failures limits engine torque. The truck then encounters major difficulties in pulling loads. The revised DPF management inhibits regeneration, and therefore all sensor and filter clogging faults. We strongly advise you to remove the particulate filter cartridge afterwards to prevent it from clogging.
Technical inspection and Device removed
It should be noted that it is not legal to remove an anti-pollution device, except if you are driving abroad in a non-Euro zone, or if you wish to export your truck. No fault will be detected at the mine, as everything is directly deleted in the engine ECU, so nothing will come out. Physically, the pollution control will pass and nobody will check whether your DPFS is empty or not. If you prefer, you can also reconnect the adblue system before the test - we'll explain how.
