AdBlue fault on EC Series Excavators and Excavators : Volvo Construction Equipment
Although they are excellent working machines, we sometimes come across faults in the emission treatment system on Volvo construction machines. In most cases, it's the AdBlue or DPF system that fails, leaving the vehicle in a degraded state. You can no longer use the vehicle, its power is reduced, the tasks entrusted to it cannot be carried out and you lose tens of thousands of €uros a day...
Which vehicles and engines are affected?
Excavators and excavators subject to AdBlue and DPF problems range from the smallest to the largest models. For example, power restriction faults on the famous EC950F can occur when a part is linked to a faulty SCR system. Models below these, such as the EC750E, EC480E, EC380E, ECR355E, EC300E, EC250E, all feature the same emission management system. The engine ECU and Continental 2.1 ACM send information to each other about the vehicle's current cycles, and record any faults and limit their use.

How to replace the original ACM box with our own?
Access to the ACM ECU is generally easy on Volvo Equipement machines. All you have to do is activate the vehicle's battery switch, disconnect the plug connected to it and connect it to our AdBlue virtualization box.
Diagnostics on specific Volvo Penta socket
In 90% of cases, once you've connected our box and switched on the circuit-breaker before installation, you should no longer have any AdBlue or DPF (Fap) faults, or even any engine alerts related to the emission control system. In some cases, however, it may be necessary to connect a Volvo Penta-compatible diagnostic tool in order to clear the fault. You'll find a photo to illustrate what we mean.
