    The various Manitou products, reputed to be one of the main international market leaders in the world of handling, can sometimes encounter faults that can totally restrict the smooth running of a worksite. Increasingly stringent anti-pollution standards are increasing the sensitivity of equipment and its sensors. Vehicles enter a degraded mode and sometimes can no longer be used. Take a look at our solutions to counter these problems, particularly those caused by AdBlue.

    AdBlue problem management on Manitou, Tier 4 and Tier 5 standards

    The latest Manitou machines are equipped with an exhaust gas after-treatment system to comply with Tier 4F and Tier 5 standards (i.e. an AdBlue FAP EGR system, depending on the engine). The various machines are equipped with engines of different makes on which we are able to intervene with Manitou AdBlue Removal.

    Our solution for managing and emulating post-gas treatment data

    Our state-of-the-art tools enable us to access virtually all the modules present on the vehicle to read out any faults. Once we've identified the type of engine ECU installed on the vehicle, we proceed to read its system memory. Our work consists of directly modifying the coding of the ECU's internal parameters, in order to inhibit various functions, permanently remove fault codes, etc. As far as possible, it is also necessary to reset the levels and adapt certain sensors or vehicle components. (e.g. FAP/EGR...) Once our operation is complete, we proceed with the post-reprog check, and make sure that no more faults are visible and memorized on the case and dashboard. We also check that the vehicle's power is back and 100% available. Manitou adblue removal takes from 2 to 4 hours, depending on the model.

    Engine ECU, Adblue and Power

    Engine ECUs manage fault code feedback on the vehicle's CAN network, often transmitted by the DCU (external control unit for post-processing). The engine ECU also contains all engine operating parameters, such as injection times, turbo pressure as a function of rpm, air flow and many others. By adjusting these different parameters in what we call MAPS (mappings), we can improve vehicle performance, reduce fuel consumption, and increase engine torque and power.
