Solutions for Volvo Tier 4F/St.V loaders
AdBlue defect on L Series loaders : Volvo Construction Equipment
Renowned for their excellent reliability, Volvo loaders are perhaps the most popular of all brands. However, as with any vehicle, you may encounter a few inconveniences in its use. Volvo loaders sometimes have AdBlue system problems. Below, we'll explain the problems and present you with our simple, fast and effective solutions.
Which vehicles and engines are affected?
Volvo loaders with AdBlue or particulate filter problems range from the smallest to the largest models. The vehicle may find itself in downgraded mode, subject to a restriction of torque and engine power that prevents any loading work, or at least at a much slower pace. Power can sometimes be reduced by as much as 75%, leaving little room for manoeuvre. Most of the time, it's a faulty part in the exhaust system. The loader models below feature the same emission management system. The engine ECU and Continental 2.1 ACM send each other information about the vehicle's current cycles, and they also record any faults and limit their use.

How to replace the original ACM box with our own?
Access to the ACM ECU is generally easy on Volvo Equipement machines. All you have to do is activate the vehicle's battery switch, disconnect the plug connected to it and connect it to our AdBlue virtualization box.
Diagnostics on specific Volvo Penta socket
In 90% of cases, once you've connected our box and switched on the circuit-breaker before installation, you should no longer have any AdBlue or DPF (Fap) faults, or even any engine alerts related to the emission control system. In some cases, however, it may be necessary to connect a Volvo Penta-compatible diagnostic tool in order to clear the fault. You'll find a photo to illustrate what we mean.
