Engine trouble Agco Power - Agco Sisu All makes

Work on the Adblue SCR system on Agco Sisu Power engines

    Problem Agco Power engine problem

We have all-problem solutions Adblue engine Agco Power built under the Tier 4 standard mainly since 2012. These engines are fitted to a wide range of machines including tractors, combines, harvesters, forwarders and many other agricultural and forestry vehicles. The main engine references are 44AWI, 49AWI, 66AWI, 67AWI, 74AWI and 84AWI. Our scope of action also extends to other Agco Sisu Power Tier 4 engine references.

Example of coupled motor and management systems

    44AWI motor

Generally controlled by a Bosch EDC17CV44 ECU fitted, for example, on Valtra tractor series.

    66AWI motor

Generally controlled by a Bosch EDC17CV54 ECU fitted, for example, on Komatsu Forest harvesters.

    Motor 84AWF

Generally controlled by a Bosch EDC17CV54 ECU fitted, for example, on Challenger tractors.

What we can remove from Agco Power engines

With the help of our many engineering software packages, we are able to remove many unnecessary elements, depending on the ECUs in question and the software versions implemented, when you are working abroad, for example, or wish to export your vehicle.

    • SCR Suppression de l'AdBlue / Selective Cataliytic Reduction
    • DPF Diesel Particulate Filter suppression
    • EGR Removal of EGR valve / Exhaust Gas Recirculation

List of the main makes and engines supported for Adblue suppression and according to versions of the DPF and EGR valve

The main brands on which Agco Sisu engines featuring the SCR system are installed are: Challenger, Fendt, JCB, Komatsu Forest, Massey Ferguson, Valtra and possibly other machines on which the exhaust management system is managed in the same way. However, the brands listed above are the most common. The models mentioned below are only a sample, and some may not be listed.

    What does our operation involve?

Bosch EDC17 engine ECU fault clearance and reconfiguration

    • If the engine warning light or any message reporting an error concerning a component of the Agco Sisu emission control system is faulty, then it will be permanently removed.
    • Vehicle torque limitation and power restriction will be removed
    • Creep mode (or Limp mode) will be deactivated: the vehicle or machine will no longer be able to reduce speed.
    • In some cases, you can disconnect peripherals (sensors, pumps, etc.) directly.
    • You'll no longer need to use AdBlue
    • Opportunity to improve vehicle power and engine torque
    • Optimizing consumption

Read and write new engine operating data without AdBlue

Your vehicle's new operating data is read and written either directly via the vehicle's OBD connector, or by the bench method, i.e. by connecting to the engine ECU's plugs. Under no circumstances do we open your ECU (except for the EDC17C63 ECU).

Agco Sisu engine & data interpretation

We use our Dimsport PCMFlash hardware and some software from the Agco Power factory to interpret data from Bosch ECUs called EEM4.

What should you do if you break down on a building site or in a critical situation?

    When we intervene

    • In most cases, the peripherals linked to the AdBlue system can be disconnected, such as the pump and sensors, or the injector. This will ensure that no AdBlue is consumed and that the system is deactivated.
    • Your Agco Sisu Power machine will be dismantled at the end of our intervention.
    • Under no circumstances can our programming be modified, UNLESS you go to the dealer and he flashes the engine ECU, i.e. replaces our modified software with a factory update.
    • You can read and delete faults not related to Adblue or the emission control system, but faults related to SCR DPF or EGR will no longer be displayed.
    • If our programming is erased by mistake, you don't have to pay the full amount again. But 50%. This being the case, we strongly advise you to stipulate that you do not update the motor management unit, especially as some new versions may prevent us from reconfiguring certain functions following a factory version that is too recent.
    • We are partners with a number of Agco Sisu dealerships, and our close contacts with them enable us to interpret certain breakdowns more quickly.
