    AdBlue Sany Penta engine problems

SANY machines fitted with Volvo Penta (Volvo CE) engines may experience problems with their AdBlue system. In fact, these are generally port machines which only make short trips, and so the exhaust gas after-treatment system fails.

The AdBlue system on SANY machines fitted with Volvo Penta engines is managed by an ACM (After Treatment Control Module) which, among other things, manages the exhaust gas system (FAP/DPF) and AdBlue injection (DEF). When a fault is detected on the vehicle's CAN network, particularly at ACM level, it is automatically sent to the EMS2.3 TRW engine ECU, and 2.4 for the latest models, indicating an anomaly and reducing engine torque and power to the machine in question.

The machines most affected are those complying with Tier 4F and Tier V (Stage V) standards. In most cases, these are Sany port forklifts, Sany empty container handlers and Sany stackers, all powered by Volvo Penta engines.

Here is a non-exhaustive list of Sany vehicles that may be subject to AdBlue system problems

    • Sany SRSC4540G stacker - TAD 1171VE engine

    • Sany SCP160G forklift - TAD 572VE motor
    • Sany SCP250G forklift - TAD 871VE motor
    • Sany SCP300G forklift - TAD 871VE motor
    • Sany SCP320GS forklift - TAD 871VE motor
    • Sany SDCY80K empty container handler - TAD 871VE motor

    What does our solution offer?

Our replacement ACM box installs in 10 minutes

Specially designed for the adblue faults present on Volvo Penta engines, and particularly suited to SANY machines fitted with Volvo Penta engines, our ACM includes a microprocessor capable of emulating the various data concerning the gas aftertreatment system. Simply disconnect your original Continental ACM2.1 and connect our Plug And Play box instead. Defects will disappear as soon as the system is installed.

Construction and features of our ACM troubleshooter

    • No or more FAP/SCR faults
    • Emulation of DEF (Adblue) parameters such as Level, Quality, etc.
    • No torque reduction or power loss
    • New technology! Plug & Play connector, replaces original ACM ECU.
    • HCDEA™ - HamCom Dynamic Emulation algorithm
    • HCDMA™ - HamCom Direct Memory Access algorithm
    • Reversibility: you can return your vehicle to its original configuration at any time once the repair has been completed.
