    What does Renault call DXi?

    DXi stands for Diesel Xtra Injection, the Renault engines designed for the Euro 4 and Euro 5 standards. They are equipped with an EGR valve and a NOx control system (Adblue).

    Midlum, Premium, Kerax and Magnum trucks are equipped with them. These engines are the result of a collaboration between Renault and Volvo.

    Adblue elimination is feasible on Volvo and Renault vehicles running on this engine base.
