Adblue suppression on Pelle
An excavator is a machine used in public works to dig, move and remove materials such as earth, sand and rock. Major excavator brands include Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi, Liebherr, Volvo and JCB (mainly). There are different types of excavator, including wheeled excavators, crawler excavators and mini excavators.
Since 2011, excavators have been subject to emission standards (Tier 4 standards) issued by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and the European Union. These standards require excavators to be equipped with emission-reducing technologies such as diesel particulate filters (DPF) and NOx control systems (SCR) to reduce emissions of environmentally harmful exhaust gases.
Adblue suppression on excavators is possible on the vast majority of current makes and models. Suppressing adblue on an excavator can be very useful when working abroad, for example. It also avoids the restriction of engine torque and power when you have defects in the exhaust after-treatment system.
