Rosenbauer and Volvo Penta, finding solutions to AdBlue problems
Rosenbauer, the world's leading designer of fire-fighting vehicles, has equipped its Panther vehicles, found at airports in the world's major cities, with Volvo Penta engines. These engines comply with the Tier 4F standard, and are now equipped with AdBlue systems, which, let's face it, can sometimes fail. We offer a range of solutions for Panther machine owners, to ensure that they don't find themselves in tricky situations when out on a job.
Troubleshooting your Panther quickly and easily
Panther machines equipped with Volvo Penta engines can be quickly and easily serviced using our ACM data emulators.
Impacted engines for which we have solutions
Main features and functions of the emulation module
Box replacement in less than 30 minutes
Proud of our ACM (After Treatment Control Module) data virtualization solution, we have opted for an ease of installation that allows even unskilled personnel to self-help. Installation is simple and the result is 100% efficient. The case is molded with the vehicle's original connector, and as you can see from the photos below, the electronics are stored at the top of the case, and are ISO 9001-certified to withstand temperatures ranging from -20° to +60°C. The original vehicle wiring harness is plug-and-play.
Common Adblue faults and known symptoms on Rosenbauer Panther
Faults found on different vehicles
In most cases, AdBlue faults correspond to a physical problem in the system. A faulty pump, seized AdBlue injector or faulty electronic part, NOx sensor, crystallization problem, clogged DPFS, etc.
Diagnostics on specific Volvo Penta socket
We have the Volvo Penta/CE & Trucks diagnostic equipment to diagnose the origin of the problem more precisely if you wish, but also to be able to erase any persistent faults. Depending on the machine, the diagnostic connector may be a Volvo Penta proprietary device, or meet the OBD2 standard. If you're located abroad, we can send you our diagnostic equipment and take control remotely once connected to the vehicle.
Adblue defect on Volvo CE vehicles (Penta SCR + DPF)
As with vehicles equipped with Volvo Euro 6 engines, when faults are present in the system you lose torque, power and therefore, to take the example of an airport fire-fighting machine, the impossibility of operating all the peripherals required for harvesting, or possibly doubling harvesting time. A restriction on maximum speed may also occur, making it impossible for the vehicle to exceed a speed of 20 km/h. Our control units are compatible with all Volvo CE vehicles meeting Tier 4 Final and Stage V standards. Excavators, Backhoe Loaders, Excavators, Pipelayers...
