Solving an adblue failure on Daf XF 510 Euro 6
The message Dysf. adblue dosage appears on DAF Euro 6 tractors for several reasons. In fact, the quantity of adblue to be injected is not correct and can be due to several reasons. Either the adblue injector is clogged or tired and no longer able to deliver enough adblue, or the adblue pump is faulty and unable to correctly dose the quantity of adblue to be delivered, or it could be a problem with the NOx sensor, which is transmitting incorrect information and disrupting the vehicle's CAN network, sending back incorrect information.
Consequences of adblue dosage problems DAF Euro 6
When the message "Adblue dosage too low" appears on a Daf truck complying with the Euro 6 standard, there are a number of unfortunate consequences. Firstly, the vehicle enters a degraded mode, reducing engine torque and making it harder to pull heavy loads. In the coming days, sometimes hours, the truck will indicate that if no action is taken, it will enter a mode we call LIMP MODE. This mode reduces the vehicle's speed to 20km/h, and it is not possible to exit without intervention. Messages are displayed on the dashboard as shown below.
What can we do about it?
We have a solution to remedy the adblue problem and adblue system malfunction on your DAF Euro 6. Please note, however, that this solution is not authorized if you drive in Europe, although it is invisible to the Mines since it is totally electronic. We intervene at the heart of the engine ECU's memory to reprogram all the truck's data. This enables us to eliminate management of the adblue system, the particulate filter and the EGR valve. The operation also deactivates the Limp Mode, and the truck regains its power and torque, and is no longer limited to 20km/h.

We can also offer you the option of increasing the vehicle's power. As Dafs are known to be a little soft, our reprogramming can counter the problem. Depending on the model, we gain 50 to 80hp and up to 300Nm of torque. Fuel consumption is reduced by around 2 to 3L/100.
