CAT C3.4B engine with SCR fault and power restriction

CAT TH408D TH357D and TH3510D telescopic loaders are equipped with the CAT C3.4 B motor. In degraded mode due to an adblue fault, this motor is no longer able to supply the power required for proper operation. The vehicle enters Derates Mode or LIMP MODE. This engine delivers between 92 and 106 Kw at base. It is also equipped with a 19L DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid) or Adblue tank. Adblue Cat C3.4B suppression is therefore possible from 2014 to 2022.

Opt for Adblue CAT C3.4B removal to put an end to it all?

C3.4B engines are equipped with DPF and SCR systems, as well as an EGR valve. There are several possible solutions to the problems associated with the exhaust after-treatment system. Either replace the parts one by one, without however eliminating the risk of the problem recurring in the days/months to come, or completely remove the system electronically.
