    Mercedes Actros 2851 - Problem Actros Euro 5 Bluetec 5 V8

Mercedes Actros 2851 V8 AdBlue system troubleshooting and engine reprogramming, Torque boost.

Adblue problem corrected on this Bluetec 5 Mercedes Actros truck, 510hp V8 engine. Warning light on dashboard, engine torque control within norms, but lack of power at high revs. Impossible to pass roadworthiness test with fault present.

Electronic programming of data in the Temic engine management ECU.

Equipped with the 15.9L OM502LA engine, the 510 HP Mercedes Actros 2851 with V8 engine (Euro 5 emission standard) and Bluetec 5 Adblue management system delivers 2400Nm of torque and is very responsive at high revs. A number of factory parameters need to be checked. The torque verified on the road is indeed 2400Nm at full load. (verified with Mercedes factory software).
Using this tool, we were able to observe that the factory update recommended for Mercedes Bluetec 5 vehicles had never been carried out, as this would enable the truck to optimize power at high revs. We therefore began by updating the truck's soft version.

    Adblue fault deactivation indefinitely.

The main objective of this intervention is to remove the Adblue fault on this Actros, Euro 5 (Bluetec 5). To do this, we intervene directly at the heart of the Temic engine ECU (MR Module). The operation doesn't require dismantling the ECU, just connecting it to the OBD socket and modifying the original Mercedes program using our specific software. We proceed in the same way (read and write), to modify the engine mapping data in order to increase the truck's power and torque from 2400Nm to 2750Nm, as well as its output to 570hp. These modifications comply with the manufacturer's standards and tolerances, so as not to damage the engine or ancillary peripherals.
