Increased performance on Scania R730 Euro 6

Don't forget to consult our SCANIA Euro 4 5 6 special reprogramming database.

R730 engine reprogramming: This Scania is now rated at 800hp, with a torque increase of +450/500Nm, i.e. almost 4000Nm instead of 3500Nm. The DC16 engine can cope with this increase without fear for the engine.

Stage 1 Scania R730: Engine reprogramming + FAP and Adblue Off steps

In order to switch the truck to free exhaust, we will activate the custom SCR AdBlue system. This means it can be controlled by a switch installed directly by the customer.

First, we need to identify the software version present on the vehicle in order to start from a blank original base corresponding to this Scania. In the engine mapping parameters, we also deactivate the SCR and FAP systems, so as not to have any faults when the truck is in free-exhaust mode. Otherwise, it will enter a degraded mode, with an orange exhaust light at first, then a red one, restricting the truck's torque and power.

If you own a R730 V8 and would like to install the free exhaust system

Here's a quick tip for installing the free exhaust switch. Simply buy a switch from Scania or online truck tuning stores that fits the Scania dashboard perfectly, then nothing too complicated, just connect this switch to the fuse box, on number 42. So when the truck is in free-exhaust mode, it will deactivate the AdBlue system, and when it is in normal exhaust mode, it will use the AdBlue system and consume fuel. It's also legal if you're driving in countries that don't accept AdBlue deactivation.
