Definitive removal of Adblue on Komptech Crambo
You own a Crambo 4200 crusher and are experiencing problems with the adblue or FAP circuit. Our solutions can counter all kinds of problems related to the anti-pollution device. Deactivating the adblue on Komptech Crambo will enable you to use your shredder without any torque or power limits. The SCR and FAP system will be totally Off. The Komptech Crambo is equipped with a Caterpillar C9.3 engine running on an Adem V engine ECU.
Recurring problems on Cat C9.3 engines and Crambo shredders
All Tier 4F vehicles subject to current regulations are equipped with a safety system in the event of a malfunction of the anti-pollution device, particularly in the event of a fault in the AdBlue, FAP or EGR system. AdBlue-related faults which cause the machine to operate in downgraded mode are mainly 5246-15, 5246-16 and 5246 in general. They are associated with the emissions symbol on the control panel. On our model, a catalytic converter problem is also present: fault 3516-18.
Fault 5246 with High severity indicates almost total power reduction. High severity. It is therefore no longer possible to work with the shredder.
To achieve the final solution, which will remove the anti-pollution device (this is forbidden in some countries), we flash a new program which we customize to neutralize the various components that make up the Adblue, Fap/Cata and EGR valves. We need to flash various modules, including the Adblue module and the C9 Adem V engine control module.
No more defects after the operation
Adblue FAP and EGR faults are now cleared, LIMP (Inducement reduction) mode is deactivated, and the machine regains full power.
