    From time to time, Scania R450s may experience problems with their DPFS and AdBlue, leading to an alert. orange with engine light . This malfunction is often due to an exhaust aftertreatment problem. Either one of the components of the AdBlue system has failed, or the DPFS is clogged. In our case, the problem was an exhaust gas filter that didn't restrict power at this level, but displayed a permanent orange light on the dashboard, preventing the engine from shifting to MIN. Our solution was to eliminate the DPF problem, since the truck is due to be exported in the coming weeks. Although MIN inspection cannot detect this suppression of the anti-pollution system in France and Europe, you should be aware that it is still forbidden to opt for this solution. As African countries do not meet the same standards as Europe, it will be perfectly legal to drive there with the system deactivated.
