Reprogramming Scania R620
Opt for Scania R620 reprogramming for more torque and power
Don't forget to consult our SCANIA Euro 4 5 6 special reprogramming database.
Reprogramming Scania R620 V8 - What a pleasure: Pulling several trailers, our customer wanted to improve the performance of his Scania V8 by reprogramming the engine. After modifying the data, we went from 620hp to 700hp and increased the engine torque by 400Nm. The truck has undergone a metamorphosis.
Stage 1 on Scania V8 Euro 5: No particulate filter
As the truck was already in free-exhaust mode, the AdBlue system was inhibited before we arrived, so we didn't perform this operation on the R620 V8. As for increasing vehicle performance, we read the truck's data directly from the OBD socket. The engine block on Euro 5 R620s is managed by a control unit called the Engine Management System (EMS S6). This contains all the vehicle's engine and emission control configuration data. (EGR/SCR)
After retrieving the original program, we modify parameters such as injection times, advance, injection and turbo pressures and many other parameters, then write the new data to the memory of the EMS S6 box.
Scania R620 V8 Euro 5 free exhaust
If, like this vehicle, you wish to switch to free exhaust, you must deactivate the adblue, otherwise you'll see an engine warning light on the dashboard. Deactivation can be done via the emulation box or directly via the engine program.
