Backhoe MST and Adblue problem: Complete deactivation
Symptoms
Intervention on this machine enabled us to definitively resolve a vehicle safety problem following an anti-pollution fault. With the degraded mode active, the vehicle could no longer be moved. Power and engine speed are limited.
SCR and Limp Mode fault eradication
To solve the adblue problem on the MST backhoe loader, we went straight to the heart of the engine management system. By retrieving the complete list of vehicle faults, we also extracted the software version of the engine operation. This version will be corrected to enable the vehicle to neutralize the use of adblue, i.e. it will no longer have the exhaust after-treatment system.
On this MST backhoe loader equipped with JCB peripherals and a Perkins C4.4 engine, we are flashing a new software version that will allow :
- Avoid degraded mode (no more engine limitation due to emissions)
- Stop urea (adblue) injection
- Stop FAP regeneration
