Delete adblue on Doosan DL450 : Scania engine loader
SCR NOx fault codes
The Scania DC13078A engine powering the Doosan DL450 loader is rated at 264 kW, or around 360 hp, and complies with EU Stage IIIB exhaust emission standards. It is a 6-cylinder diesel engine.
Recurring Adblue fault codes prevent the vehicle from operating properly. The Engine Management System (EMS) continuously monitors engine operating data and can take safety measures in the event of a problem. In the event of an Adblue system fault, the ECU can restrict power by reducing the amount of fuel injected into the engine. This measure is designed to protect the engine and exhaust system by limiting NOx emissions.
The definitive solution: Remove adblue on Doosan DL450
By programming the Scania EMS S8 control unit, which manages NOx and engine parameters, it is possible to eliminate Adblue injection and inhibit the system. The adblue connector can then be disconnected without displaying a fault on the dashboard. This is a reliable and definitive method.
The CAN (Controller Area Network) data bus is a communication network used in vehicles to exchange data between different control modules and sensors. The SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) module and the EMS (Engine Management System) are components that communicate with each other via the CAN data bus to exchange information on engine and exhaust emission control system operation.
If the CAN data bus is deactivated between the SCR module and the EMS, this may affect the correct operation of the vehicle and cause faults. If the CAN data bus is deactivated without causing any faults, this may indicate human intervention, and the vehicle may no longer comply with current emission standards. However, it does allow adblue to be removed from the Doosan DL450, enabling the machine to operate optimally again.
