    After a multitude of faults still present after the MAN TGS had passed through the dealership, our customer opted for a radical solution, since the vehicle was going to be used in a closed environment, not subject to Euro 6 road standards. To achieve this, we intervened at the heart of the Bosch EDC17CV42 engine ECU. 

    Adblue fault on Man 26.360 - Removal of Man TGS SCR system

    When parts connected to the Adblue system fail, the vehicle goes into a degraded mode. By degraded mode we mean: a restriction of the vehicle's torque and power which can render it virtually unusable. In the case of an Adblue quality defect present on MAN Euro 6, the truck may even enter creep mode. When this creep mode is active, the truck has neither power nor torque, and in addition, the maximum authorized speed is 20km/h.

    How to read information from the Bosch engine ECU for Truck Man Euro 6 TGS

    The various faults associated with the AdBlue and FAP systems will be reset and deactivated once the new data have been integrated. The bosch ECU 0 281 020 273 type EDC17CV42 is accessible via the bench method (without opening, directly via the ECU PINS).
