Eliminate adblue on new-generation MAN Euro 6d engines

Since the release of the new generation of MAN trucks, many changes have been introduced. The gas aftertreatment system is managed in a different way, as are the injection data. Everything is managed by the new Bosch MD1 control unit, which has taken the place of the usual EDC17. However, the good news is that we can still operate within the engine ECU's memory to modify the vehicle's operating data.

Waiver for working abroad in non-Euro zone

Deleting Adblue on Man TGX 510 prevents the vehicle from being put into restriction mode, or worse (Limp mode). When a vehicle subject to the Euro 6 standard is exported or is to be driven for a period of time in a country where adblue is not available or is difficult to find, then the best solution is to suppress the overall operation of the aftertreatment system. Removing adblue from the Man TGX 510 is therefore possible via complete bench programming.

What to remove from the new Man?

We have the option of removing a number of emission-related elements, particularly if you wish to export your vehicle. The Mines test will show no defects. The various components are as follows The AdBlue system (zero injection): you no longer need to fill the tank. The particulate filter can also be removed, but it's advisable to remove the cartridge too, so that soot doesn't build up inside it, since regeneration will be deactivated. The EGR valve can also be closed.

Boosting the power of MAN TGX 510s

Via the engine mapping we extract during our intervention, we also have access to complete injection data on engine operation, enabling us to optimize injection times, turbo pressure and exhaust gas temperatures, in order to obtain more torque at low revs and improve acceleration and fuel consumption. On this model, power can be increased to 570hp and torque improved by 250Nm. Consumption gains are in the region of 2 to 3L/100km.
