Mercedes Actros are trucks from the German brand Mercedes-Benz. There are several generations of these trucks, the MP3, MP4 and MP5 being the most recent.

Actros MP3s were introduced in 2005 and are equipped with Euro 4 diesel engines, an anti-pollution standard that limits particulate and exhaust emissions. Actros MP4, introduced in 2011, are equipped with Euro 5 or Euro 6 diesel engines, an even stricter anti-pollution standard that limits particulate and exhaust emissions. Actros MP5s, introduced in 2018, are equipped with Euro 6 diesel engines, an even stricter anti-pollution standard that limits particulate and exhaust emissions.

On some Mercedes Actros MP3, MP4 and MP5 models, emission control components such as AdBlue, DPFS and EGR can be omitted. This reduces maintenance costs and increases engine performance.
