Faulty emission control system on Renault D3.5
We intervened on an AdBlue Renault D3.5 Euro 6 fault. The fault codes stored in memory corresponded to the complete anti-pollution system. Adblue system, particulate filter, EGR valve... the complete trio. As the vehicle was in downgraded mode, it was impossible to move forward with it, and the rev counter didn't exceed 1200rpm even when accelerating on the spot. The main cause: the particulate filter was completely clogged, preventing exhaust gases from escaping. In addition, the AdBlue system and the EGR valve were also limiting engine torque, putting it into degraded mode.
Complete removal of devices : Possible and undetectable
The engine on the Renault D3.5 Euro 6 is the 3.0 DCi. It is managed by an EDC17C45 ECU similar to the one found on the Nissan Cabstar or NV400. Our operation consists of reprogramming all the data present, and therefore deleting the FAP regeneration, AdBlue injection and EGR valve operation. Once these elements have been electronically suppressed, it is necessary to inhibit the display of fault codes on the dashboard. The particulate filter, if electronically removed, must be emptied to allow exhaust gases to escape. Failure to empty the filter may result in mechanical damage to the vehicle. The pressure of the exhaust gases will rise in the turbocharger and the intake system, potentially destroying the components. Please note, however, that it is forbidden to drive with an anti-pollution device removed, and that it is preferable to do this if you are exporting your vehicle abroad.

Optimization of engine power and torque is also possible on this vehicle. This reduces fuel consumption and enhances driving pleasure. The vehicle will be smoother to drive, more responsive at lower engine speeds, and deliver more power when you need it.
