How to remove adblue from Scania P410?

Final system removal on DC13 115 engine - EMS S8 AdBlue removal on Scania P410 involves completely disabling the vehicle's AdBlue and FAP system (for resale abroad), so that it can be used without AdBlue. Engine reprogramming takes place in two stages, partly using specific software, partly using Scania software in developer mode. Removing AdBlue from the Scania P410 allows you to regain engine power if your vehicle is in downgraded mode, to stop having to fill up with AdBlue and to stop having to regenerate the particulate filter. We can also shut down the EGR valve.

Motor management, power increase on P410 DC13 115

The DC13 115 Scania engine is rated at 410hp. Most of the engine peripherals on the 410 are borrowed from the 450, i.e. turbo, injectors, HP pump, etc. The gearbox in our case was the GRSO905, also identical to the one fitted on the 450. The only part that differs on this Scania is the clutch, which is why we didn't increase torque values to match those of a reprogrammed 450. However, the difference is clearly significant when driving, and the truck, although loaded, seems almost empty. Power therefore rises from 410hp to 490hp, and engine torque is increased by 250Nm.

    The anti-pollution devices are deactivated!

To export a truck (for example) to countries not subject to the Euro 6 standard, it is imperative to deactivate the adblue system on Scania P410. The SCR system present with the EMS S8 engine management system will restrict the truck, i.e. engine power and torque will be limited, and the truck will not be able to climb the gradients, if at all. This is what we call Limp Mode. The truck may also be unable to exceed a speed of 20km/h. The only solution, if you don't want to invest in a complete AdBlue system with catalytic converter, is to opt for a vehicle reprogramming that removes the AdBlue and particulate filter. Of course, there's no fault on the dashboard after this procedure, and the truck still passes the roadworthiness test.
